Major Duties
Critical Infrastructure Sector Liaison Officers (CISLO) represent and advocate for the Command’s mission with a primary USG partner agency in support of shared national defense and cybersecurity objectives. CISLOs draw on deep insights into the interagency cooperation essential to define respective authorities, roles and responsibilities, and resourcing to establish and strengthen partnerships. USCYBERCOM leverages CISLOs to improve interoperability, information and intelligence sharing, exercises, and operational planning to enable the Command and the partner to work together seamlessly to take full advantage of emerging opportunities and address real-time cyber contingencies.
Qualifications/ Specialized Experience
To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe one year of specialized experience that demonstrates the possession of knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Such experience is typically in or directly related to the work of the position to be filled. Specialized experience would be demonstrated by one year of 1) Monitoring and analyzing emerging cybersecurity threats, risks, and vulnerabilities; 2) Providing guidance and advice on cybersecurity best practices and procedures and; 3) Developing, analyzing and implementing strategies and plans for cyberspace operations.

Statement of Excepted Service- This position is a DoD Cyber Excepted Service (CES) personnel system position in the Excepted Service under 10 U.S.C. 1599f.
