Major Duties

  • Investigates and resolves crucial programs, matters of a policy nature, and those affecting resource management functions.
  • Developing and recommending budgeting and management analysis policies to the Division Chief and Comptroller or higher as appropriate.
  • Provides directional guidance and advice to the Resource Management staff regarding internal policy procedures and operational changes.
  • Exercises significant responsibilities in dealing with officials of other units or organizations; or in advising management officials of higher rank.

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe one-year of qualifying experience that demonstrates the possession of knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Such experience is typically in or directly related to the work of the position to be filled. To qualify based on your experience, your resume must clearly describe the following quality experience: Providing financial guidance to organizational leaders regarding budget policies and procedures; Preparing cost estimates and budget formulation in support of an organization internal operations such as manpower and projects; Resolving funding problems that impact the execution of budget is resolved appropriately to accomplish mission requirements; AND Presenting the proposed budget to senior staff and managers for a decision on execution.
