Major Duties
Serves as the main Continuity of Operations Plan (COOP) analyst for the ARCYBER G34 Protection Division. Functions as the primary specialist and focal point of contact to develop, assess, maintain, and execute the command continuity of operations plan relating to ARCYBER's overall mobilization preparedness during a contingency environment.
Qualifications/ Specialized Experience
One year of specialized experience that has equipped the applicant with the competencies/knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. Specialized experience is defined as: Assisting with the development and implementation of continuity planning for contingency operations; gathering and analyzing data to determine priority mission functions during operations; and assist in preparing policies and procedures that support the Continuity of Operations Plan (COOP) for the organization.
Conditions of Employment
Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
Three-year trial/probationary period may be required.
Temporary duty travel may be required approximately 20% of the time.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a TOP SECRET security clearance with eligibility for access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI).
This position is a testing designated position (TDP) in accordance with (IAW) Drug Free Federal Workplace Program. As a precondition and continuing condition of employment, the incumbent of this position must, IAW Chapter 5, section II, paragraphs 5-8b and 5-8c(4) of AR 600- 85 (The Army Substance Abuse Program) and DA PAM 600-85 (Army Substance Abuse Program Civilian Services), Chapter 3, paragraphs 3-2e and f agree to submit urinalysis testing on a recurring basis. The incumbent is required to sign a DA Form 5019 (Condition of Employment for Certain Positions Identified as Critical Under the DA, Drug Free Federal Workplace Program.
Must undergo and successfully complete an initial and periodic counter-Intelligence Polygraph (CI Poly) examination with No Deception Indicated (NDI).
Must be able to obtain and maintain access to NSA and Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) accredited facilities and networks. [Military External Affairs Division (MEAD) Security In-Processing (SIP) process.]
