Major Duties

  • Responsible for managing designated UIC Property Hand Receipt in GCSS-A.
  • Serves as the logistics planner for excess equipment disposition, identifies shortages, and prepares property reports for the LNEC Director.
  • Identifies potential discrepancies and takes action to resolve problems using the supply adjustment procedures such as the AAR, eFLIPL, etc.)
  • Prepares recurring monthly tracker and any special reports that captures the identified excess for turn-in.

To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe one specialized experience that demonstrates the possession of knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for immediate success in the position Qualifying experience would be demonstrated by: Performing physical inventory checks to produce property and equipment reports; utilizing automated systems to identify discrepancies in command resources to meet mission requirements; and tracking supply inventory to determine damages, shortages and justification for new products. OR Education: Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as: secretarial, clerical or administrative. OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the first year (total graduate semester hours minus 18) by 18. Add the two percentages. Proficiency Required: This position requires a qualified typist. A qualified typist can type 40 words per minute based on a 5-minute sample with three or fewer errors.
