Major Duties
- Responsible for the planning, support and implementation of a broad program dealing with all logistics matters pertaining to new equipment and requirements for inclusion in DOD command control communications/computers.
- Provide staff technical coordination in these areas of responsibility to achieve a unified program meeting total support requirements and performs lateral coordination with the various program managers.
- Assign work to subordinates based on priorities and selective considerations of the difficulty of assignments and capabilities of employees.
- Develop and implement logistics concepts and procedures to support a broad range and complex variety of automotive/communications-electronics equipment.
- Direct the development of maintenance support, supply support, support and test equipment, transportation and handling, and technical data concepts and requirements necessary for new or product improved information.
- Develop, prepare, review and analyze logistics support plans and annexes to operational plans to ensure the adequate provision of manpower, supplies, equipment and services to meet specific support needs.
