IT Specialist (INFOSEC)

Major Duties

• Provide direct support to the P-ISSM on issues and tasks related to IT security/Cybersecurity and the associated administration, development, and revision of, policy, plans, and programs.
• Responsible for management, technical operation, performance monitoring and management, analysis, and operations for Cybersecurity support provided to the three Brigades (BDEs).
• Maintain a close and collaborative working relationship between the Command, ADOC, Regional Cyber Center-CONUS (RCC-CONUS), and BDE Cybersecurity personnel
• Provide network-oriented Cybersecurity technical review, validation, and oversight of proposed IT projects.
• Analyze requirements for Cybersecurity services and related support within the area of operations
• Conduct survey, evaluate, and reviews to determine the extent of Cybersecurity compliance.
• Recommend needed changes in policies, plans, and procedures.
• Represent the Command at symposiums, seminars, and conferences where Cybersecurity support and related matters are the topics of discussion.
