Major Duties

  • Serves as an Information Operations Planner within the J-39 Information Operations (IO) Directorate of the Joint Force Headquarters-Cyber (Army) (JFHQ-C (A)).
  • The position is responsible for planning, coordinating, and integrating IO with a full-range of cyberspace operations. Works under the supervision of the J39 IO Chief and Deputy IO Chief.
  • Serves as a principal action officer and project leader in the planning and development of JFHQ-C (A) IO requirements, organizational structure, and operational conduct to Service, Joint, and USCYBERCOM planning processes and operations.
  • Provides IO expertise support to JFHQ-C (A), USCENTCOM, USAFRICOM, USNORTHCOM, and USCYBERCOM relating to both near term and long-term planning efforts.
  • Provides IO expertise in the analysis of Service, Joint, and Component IO impacts and doctrinal issues in the development of planning guides and the other plans and orders in support of JFHQ-C (A)’s role to USCYBERCOM.
  • Analyzes operational plans and orders to ensure command essential elements of information are protected.

Specialized experience would be demonstrated by Assisting with planning and developing Information Operations requirements to support crisis action planning Identifying, tracking, measuring, and updating the command strategic campaign plan ensuring each campaign objective supports the command's missions, vision, goals, and objectives coordinating with other agencies within the area of responsibility to identify equipment, system, tools, and manpower requirements for operational and contingency plans.
